  • Speech Language Pathologist, CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) – This is the national gold-standard certification awarded by ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association). Shows the clinician meets the highest national standards. Ensures evidence-based, ethical practice.
  • IMSC (Institute for Myofunctional Sciences Certified) – This is a myofunctional therapy certification from the Institute for Myofunctional Sciences. Indicates advanced, niche expertise relevant to airway-focused and oral-motor-based interventions.

Sarah has been a licensed speech-language pathologist since 2023. She earned her Masters of Speech Language Pathology from Francis Marion University and her Communication Sciences and Disorders Bachelors degree from Appalachian State University. She has training in speech-sound disorders, various language/ communication disorders, oral tethers, and feeding and swallowing difficulties in infants and toddlers with a variety of diagnosis. She is a certified Integrative Myofunctional Specialist (IMSC).  She has experience in early intervention and outpatient clinic settings.
