  • Samantha is the owner and clinical director for Integrative Wellness and Therapeutics (IWT).

Samantha is the owner and clinical director for Integrative Wellness and Therapeutics (IWT). She earned her Doctorate and Masters degrees in Occupational Therapy from the University of St Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, California. Her doctorate capstone focused on feeding and nutritional interventions for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She has spent her professional career in pediatrics, with a focus on various forms of assessment and intervention for children with feeding concerns, orofacial myofunctional disorders, and picky eating behaviors. Samantha also has extensive training and incorporates bodywork, CNS regulation, breathing techniques, and support for motor development in her treatment sessions.

Samantha has completed coursework and certifications in multiple specialized areas of practice related to feeding, including: Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, SOS Approach to Feeding, AEIOU Systematic Approach to Feeding, Talk Tools OMD Deconstructed and Airway, Torticollis Assessment and Treatment of Infants and Children, The Breathe Institute: The Breathe Baby Course, Sarah Hornsby’s MyoMentor 12 week course, and the IAOM Orofacial Myology course. She is a Certified Holistic Nutrition (AFPA), and earned AOTA certification in Nutrition, Chronic Disease, and Health Promotion.

Samantha is passionate about supporting children and their families in a holistic manner, combining her knowledge and experience with the specialized team of therapists at IWT and the network of local providers that all work in collaboration to help children reach their goals and greatest levels of functioning and independence.
