Teletherapy Services

What is Teletherapy?
Teletherapy is a different model of service delivery, meaning that it is very similar to traditional face-to-face therapy, but is delivered completely virtually, through a secure platform.
Sessions are provided for the same duration as in person services, so either 30, 45, or 60 minute sessions, depending on the type of therapy.
Therapists are able to individualize sessions to support each client’s needs and provide a digital home program following each session to support carryover of new skills or exercises learned during therapy.

Who is it appropriate for?
Teletherapy can be beneficial for most ages, services, and treatment plans. Our therapists will discuss recommendations with clients and/or caregivers to make sure it is the best fit for the client’s needs. Depending on the client’s age and independence, a parent or caregiver may need to be present to help facilitate the activities presented by the therapist. This is also a great opportunity for therapists to provide parent education and resources that can be used within the home setting. Access to high speed internet and a computer camera and microphone are required to utilize the teletherapy platform.
