Lucia is a dedicated and passionate professional with a comprehensive background in psychology and occupational therapy assisting. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Child and Family Development. Furthering her expertise, she completed an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program in North Carolina to become a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Lucia is pursing her graduate degree in Occupational Therapy while working at IWT.

Currently residing in Charlotte, Lucia has had experiences in various settings of occupational therapy, including feeding, sensory, and mental health. Her approach to therapy is holistic, emphasizing the overall well-being of children and families to support them in the most effective way possible. Lucia is devoted to providing care that enhances the quality of life for individuals of all ages.

In her personal time, Lucia enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, hiking, and reading! Her commitment to both her professional and personal life highlights her well-rounded character and dedication to making a positive impact on those around her.
